The Carolina Biodiversity Collaborative is a new initiative formed as a partnership of UNC faculty doing biodiversity research, the North Carolina Botanical Garden and Herbarium, and the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences. Our goals are to promote and advocate for biodiversity research, provide guidance and training for those seeking careers in biodiversity research, and enhance public understanding and appreciation of biodiversity.

Please join the Carolina Biodiversity Collaborative (CBC) for its inaugural, half-day symposium on Wednesday, May 18th from 9am to 1pm in the Reeves Auditorium at the North Carolina Botanical Garden. The half-day symposium will include an overview of the CBC and our partners, discussion groups, and poster presentations (with a cash prize for best student poster).
